I did exactly what you said and its still not turning on automatically when I turn on my sony a7siii, it use to be working perfectly so i dont understand why its not anymore, any additional help would be greatly appreciated!

Your video was fantastic. I used to do a lot of video work and started with Premiere. I changed to Final Cut Studio and all was good. Once I upgraded to FCP and then FCPX I was always confused with their file structure terminology. I was able to edit with FCPX well and made great projects but always felt I really did not understand their workflow... until now. Your video has explained it extremely well. Thank you!

Why not use "job" instead off "deliverable" - deliverable is lousy word that nobody uses !

Just boxing mine up as now useless. A reasonable gimbal but the worst battery system I ever used. Batteries die after no time and very expensive to replace.

Thanks for the video! I actually have a little problem. The frames of my time lapse are not completely aligned and wanted to know if there is any way to align them. I was trying with auto align layers in Photoshop, but sadly is not working properly. Could you help me with that? Thanks!

Tell me I'm wrong, but this is what I understand-- Don't say project. Don't say project. Don't say project. Don't say project. I make a lot of files. Music, audio, this, that, that again, a bunch of other stuff, and, of course, carpentry. Don't forget key words, transcoding, pro res and carpentry. I render proxy files later on. Then import it. Good luck! I know you clicked some stuff. But do you ever explain how to actually set FCP up to import the video? Where did the "Import Media" icon come from? I know you know. But I watched this video because I was hoping that, by the end of it, I would know too.

I still use this system for my humble video work, with the upgrades to FCP and given tis is 4 yrs old, is it still your approach?

the reason someone may want to use this setting, at least me personally, is because my camera (GoPro) has a file limit of 4gb and will "turn off/on again" after that file limit is reached. it's instantaneous. It's a setting that can't be changed for some reason and since the camera restarts so quickly, the mic doesn't catch it and doesn't turn back on.

Thank you for this...I still have a bit of an issue in the audio sync dpt tho...I record video with Nikon, audio with Logic and recently I have changed my FPS?Frame rate format on my Nikon to 1920x1080 25P (before it was always 30P) and it so happened that my Nikon audio did not match my Logic audio...not only it did not sync time wise but did not sync pitch wise...I even tried to create a Logic template with 25 P but still not matching...any advice on this? Any videos on this specific issue? Thank you so much

That’s what I love about Final Cut. That it takes you longer to import everything than actual editing

do you know if Synchronize Clips is any faster than MultiCam (which is useful if you potentially want to use original audio source, not sure how good Syncronize is when you untick AV box). P.s. it's annoying FCPX takes ages to stop syncing when there is no overlap rather than just telling you straight away!
